Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was obvious: people are spending more and more time immersed in a digital world and are experiencing overexposure to UV (blue) light. Unfortunately, our eyes cannot withstand the long hours being spent in front of screens and under bright lights.
With over 25 years in the optical industry and seeing patients every day in our clinics, we have taken the time to listen to our patients' problems and needs. The result is we founded BLUELITE Glasses. We recognised a recurring theme emerging from our patients.

BlueLite Glasses was founded with a mission:
To provide stylish high-quality optical solutions and services that enhance the digital generations´ rapidly evolving lifestyles through science and technology. We strive for excellence in service and continuous upgrades and improvements.
We decided to create a limited range of stylish designs to solve the blue light exposure problem and offer both quality and style. We ensured we focused on two important areas during the creativity and design stage – functionality and style.
Importantly, we put great emphasis on the quality of the lenses that we use. You can read more about the lenses and their accreditation on our Lenses page but fundamentally we wanted to ensure people that the lenses actually do what is needed, and offer real protection from chronic exposure to blue light. As we are practicing industry professionals, we can add any prescription to our lenses. Simply share your most recent prescription with us and we will add this to any of our BlueLite frames.
By designing our own range of glasses and supplying directly to our customers we are able to offer high-quality glasses at a reasonable price.
